Counselling

section-2a74a5c

When we are struggling with life...

...we often turn to family and friends. Whilst they are a great source of support, sometimes we do not want to worry or burden them with our problems. Perhaps they are simply too close to be impartial and we would prefer to speak with someone outside our network who has the relevant skills.

Counselling offers a safe therapeutic environment where you can talk through whatever is happening in your life. Counselling can be either short-term or long-term. Short-term solution-focused therapy can be helpful if you have a specific goal in mind and want help providing a framework to achieve the desired changes. Long-term therapy gives you the time to explore the issues you are facing at a deeper level, helping you to understand how underlying issues from your past influence who you are today.
